FAQ for therapy in Colorado
FAQ for therapy in Colorado
What if my past therapy experiences weren't helpful?
Whether we meet virtually or in an office, your comfort is key. We focus on building a healing relationship that feels right for you, ensuring our collaborative work proceeds at a pace that ensures total safety.
Must I discuss my past traumas?
No. In both our online and office sessions, we prioritize the process over specific details. Your nervous system leads the way, allowing us to build a trusting connection that honors your current level of readiness.
How many sessions will I need?
Every journey is unique. Some find clarity quickly, while others benefit from longer support. Whether meeting in person or via screen, we focus on your sustained growth rather than adhering to any rigid schedule.
How do digital and office visits compare?
Both formats offer deep connection. Our secure video platform provides the same grounded presence as our physical space. You can choose the environment where you feel most at ease and best able to do this work.
What is somatic practice?
A somatic approach means we pay attention to your body and nervous system. It's about learning how your body holds stress and how we can gently release that tension through movement and breath while discussing the stressors that you face.
Can you help if I can't quite name my struggle?
Absolutely. You don't need a label to begin. Together, through gentle dialogue and somatic tracking, we will explore the patterns within your life to find a clearer path toward wellness and inner peace.
Do I need to be in Colorado?
Yes. While I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions, I am only licensed for clients residing in Colorado. You can join me in the office or from any private, comfortable setting within the state boundaries.

Because my license is issued by the State of Colorado, I'm only able to offer virtual sessions when you're physically located within Colorado at the time of our appointment. If you're planning to travel, just let me know in advance so we can figure out what makes sense.
How is your trauma care unique?
We center on nervous system regulation and relational trust. Whether sitting together in a room or connecting through a screen, we prioritize consent and slow pacing to ensure a gentle, safe healing environment.
